Dream circles are sacred spaces created by a small group of participants, gathering to listen in on psychic wisdom coming from dreams.
In dream circles, we honor Jung's belief that wholeness is found by weaving together body, mind, spirit, and soul. Engaging a process of discovery, the dreamer shares a dream as listeners receive it. The dreamer may share feelings, memories, and associations to dream imagery. Listeners' questions amplify the potential held in dream symbols. In dream circles, there are no predetermined meanings for dream symbols; the dreamer's bodily resonances determine significance.
Dreams can be both personally and collectively relevant, as archetypes held in dreams are sourced from the collective unconscious.
Using Jung’s creative process of Active Imagination, the dreamer dreams the dream on. Dream symbols continue revealing themselves over time.
While dream circles are not a substitute for psychotherapy, these circles engage a deep, often vulnerable process of encountering
unconscious parts of ourselves. Confidentiality and reverence are paramount.
